Postcard from John dated October 16, 1940 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Dear Mother:
We are under army regulation. We will have to be in bed at 15 minutes before 10 o’clock. We will not be able to leave the place for 3 weeks. Our barracks are as nice as anyone could ask for. The food is very good, in fact, they give you all you can eat. I will start flying Monday morning. You should see me make up my bed, it takes a genius to figure it out.
Love, John
