The Leader – Memorial Day Tribute
The Leader, a local newspaper to the Covington, Tennessee area, contained a special “Memorial Day Tribute” insert in Thursday’s edition. The front page of this section contained a heart warming article about hometown hero, 1st Lt. John C. Kelley.
The author of the article, Tiffany Holland, is the grand-niece of Lt. Kelley. Her grandfather, Reese Kelley, was one of John’s older brothers. It was a pleasure to share the story with Tiffany and to be rewarded with such a well written article. I would like to give a special thanks to Tiffany for sharing this wonderful story with her readers. We are very grateful.
